High elasticity waterproof cementitious coat

Description

PRELASTIC 500 PLUS is a two-component waterproof coat. A blend of modified cements and polymers, the material is easy to apply, highly elastic and totally waterproof. Other advantages include its high level of adherence to practically all construction materials. It allows painting or any other over-coating.

Application procedure

Preparation of the surface: The surface should be sound, clean and free from friable material, oil, grease and other polluters. It should also exhibit an adequate surface resistance. Chipped and porous areas should be previously repaired.

If water leakages exist, these should be previously plugged with PRERESEAL 75 PLUG.

The application surface should be soaked prior to the application of PRELASTIC 500 PLUS. The existing joints and cracks should be adequately treated before the application.

Preparation of the product: Decant component B into component A and mix in a mechanical way (using a drill or a stirrer) until a homogeneous, lumps free mix is achieved.

Apply the product by a brush or a roller. Use a short-hair wide brush for the first coat and a brush, a roller, or a trowel for the second. The interval between the two coatings should be a minimum of 16 hours and a maximum of 3 days.

PRELASTIC 500 PLUS can be watered 2 hours after its application.

Curing: PRELASTIC 500 PLUS should be prevented from a fast drying, especially in hot and very windy weather. Recently finished coatings should be protected from rain until their final hardening.

Tools cleaning: The tools and utensils should be washed with water immediately after their use. If the product hardens on them, it can be removed in a mechanical way only.

Special precautions

This product contains cement. Avoid its contact with the eyes or the skin as well as inhalation of the powder. Use rubber gloves and goggles. Keep out of children‘s reach.

Empty packaging must be eliminated according to the local environment regulations.

Consumption

The product yields approximately 2-3 kg /m² over fine-grained texture and about 3-4 kg /m² over rough-grained texture.

Packaging

PRELASTIC 500 PLUS is supplied in sets of 34 kg, in white and grey colour.

Storage

PRELASTIC 500 PLUS should be stored in a dry place, protected from frost and direct sunshine in its unclosed original packaging.

The product has a shelf life of 12 months since the date of its manufacturing, when stored under appropriate conditions.
