Rough flooring based on water dispersed acrylic resins and a mineral filling

Description

COPSAFLOOR 810 is a rough flooring based on water dispersed acrylic resins with added aggregates. It is used for sport-type flooring and wearing courses.

Application procedure

Surface preparation: The substrate must be concrete or resistant asphalt. It must be clean, free from laitance, friable material, paint, grease, dust and undesirable elements. In case of a very porous surface, high spots or fissures, the defects must be removed to achieve an evensurface.

Application: Although the product is supplied ready for its direct application, being previously homogenized, a small amount of water could be added in function of the weather conditions and the setting-up. It should be highlighted that the water addition could affect the final characteristics of the product.

Pour the product over the substrate and spread it with a rubber trowel beginning from the corner in a constant, lineal way. The product should be extended from one extreme to the other. Special care should be taken in places where the product meets the walls and other specific elements.

Depending on the weather conditions, a second coat can be applied three to four hours after the first application. Make sure that thefirst coat has dried.

Mixing: The product is ready to be used. However, due to its aggregate content, it should be homogenized in situ using an electrical mixer, a low-speed mixer or just shaking the bag. In the cases of water addition, the mixing is done by an electric mixer.

Tools cleaning: Clean all tools and application equipments with water immediately after their use.

Recommended for

The flooring is recommended for small thickness coats (1-2 mm), which are resistant to wear and have a good adhesiveness.

• Sports floorings.
• Cycle paths or similar.
• Garages.

Special precautions

The application temperature should be between 10 and 30 ºC. The product cannot be applied in rainy, frost or very hot weather.

Use rubber gloves and goggles.

In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly withwater and soap. If the product hardens on the skin, use degreasing soaps or medical solvents (liquid paraffin).

Empty packaging must be disposed of according to local legal environmental regulations.

Consumption

COPSAFLOOR 810 yields approximately 1.5 kg/m² depending on the application conditions and the substrate state. Should a second coat be applied, the approximate consumption will be 1 kg/m².

Packaging

COPSAFLOOR 810 is supplied in 45 kg bags.

Storage

The product must be kept in its original, unopened packaging, in dry places and protected from direct sunlight, at 10 to 30 ºC temperature.

The shelf life of the product is 12 months from the date of production, provided it is well kept.
