Preceram 100
Cementitious mortar for joining 2 to 15 mm tiles
Documento sin título
Description
PRECERAM 100 is a mortar with decorative purposes, formulated on the base of
hydraulic binding agents, admixtures, special
resins and inorganic pigments.
Once applied, PRECERAM 100 is highly
workable and fills easily any type of distance
between the tiles, not allowing the color to
fade.
PRECERAM 100 conforms to CG2-W-Ar type,
according to UNE-EN 13888.

Features
- Easy to apply and clean.
- High workability.
- Homogeneous.
- Durable.
- Stable color.
Application procedure
Substrate preparation: The joints between
the tiles should be uniformly cleaned after
placing them.
Mixing: Mix approximately 7 to 10 liters of
water per 25 kg bag of PRECERAM 100 to
obtain a uniform mix. A mechanic mixer is
recommended. After mixing, allow a waiting
time of 5 min.
Application: PRECERAM 100 mortar should
be applied using a rubber edged trowel, filling diagonally. Then, PRECERAM 100 is
spread using a rubber trowel, eliminating the
extra material by a sponge.
In case of rough material, material without
glazing or joint filling in walls, the mortar
should be placed in plastic consistency using
a rubber spatula or a trowel topped with a
sponge. After the mortar has hardened, clean
the edges of the joint from extra material,
using a wet clean sponge.
PRECERAM 100 cannot be applied on hot
surfaces, wet surfaces or at temperatures
lower than 5ºC.
Tools cleaning: Tools and application
equipment are washed with water
immediately after use. If the product hardens,
it can only be removed by mechanical means.
Recommended for
- Sealing of ceramics tiles joints.
- Sealing of any type (ceramic, stoneware,
etc.) of tiles joints.
- Sealing of interior and exterior joints.
- Vertical and horizontal joints sealing.
- Joints filling in natural stone.
- Joints sealing in artificial stone of the type
COPSAGUNIT H.
Special precautions
This product contains cement. Avoid its
contact with the eyes, the skin or its
inhalation. Use rubber gloves and protective
goggles while applying it. Keep away from
children's reach
Empty packaging must be disposed of in
compliance with the local legal norms.
Consumption
Yield could be calculated following the
following formulae:
(A + B) x C x D x 2 / (A x B)
where:
A: tile width in mm.
B: tile length in mm.
C: tile thickness in mm.
D: joint width in mm.
Example: tiles of 40x40cm, 11 mm thickness
and a joint between tiles of 10mm:
(400 + 400) x 11 x 10 x 2 / (400 x 400) = 1,1
kg/m2.
Packaging
PRECERAM 100 is supplied in 5 and 20 kg
bags in various colors (see list of colors).
Storage
PRECERAM 100 shelf life is 12 months if kept
in a dry place, protected from the weather
conditions.
