Description
PRELASTIC 200 is an ionic bitumen-rubber
emulsion adhering to any type of surface and
suitable for waterproofing and elastic
coating on exterior surfaces. It is odor-less
and insoluble in water after once it has been
applied and dried.
Technical Data
- Type: Bitumen-rubber emulsion.
- Colour: Dark.
- Density at 15 ºC: 1.0 kg/dm3.
- Drying time, tack free at 20 ºC:
85 min max.
- Total drying time at 20 ºC: 24 h.
- Slipping of vertical plate: O, at 160 ºC.
- Application temperature: >5 - 40 ºC.
Application procedure
PRELASTIC 200 is dissolved in equal parts
of water and applied using a brush, a
painting brush or a roller on clean, free
from dust and grease surfaces. Allow for
the first coat to dry before applying the
second coat. Apply the second coat at
right angles to the first one.
Tools cleaning: The tools and utensils
should be washed with water immediately
after their use. If the product hardens, clean
with COPSA solvent-cleaner.

- Walls and foundations.
- Bridge boards.
- Freezers.
- Anti vapor barriers.
- Insulations.
Special precautions
PRELASTIC 200 is not inflammable. Rubber
gloves and protective goggles are recommended for its application. In case of
eye contact, wash immediately with water. In
case of skin contact, wash with plenty of
water and soap. If inhaled, see a doctor; do
not provoke vomiting.
Empty packaging must be eliminated
according to the local environmental
regulations.
Consumption
The recommended yield PRELASTIC 200 to
achieve a good coverage is 2-3 kg/m2.
Packaging
The product is supplied in 23 kg containers.
Storage
PRELASTIC 200 shelf life is 12 months if kept
in a dry place, protected from frost and direct
sunlight, in its original, unopened
containers.
