Description

COPSAPLAN 50 is a levelling screed of up to 10 mm, consisting in a hydraulic conglomerate, selected quartz aggregates, synthetic resins and catalyst admixtures.

Once mixed with water, it forms a perfect self levelling coating of low thickness, high mechanical resistance and high adhesion to the support. It is suitable for the regularization and levelling of indoor floors which are to be covered with ceramic finishes, fitted carpets, parquet, etc.

Classified as cementitious self-levelling screed type CT-C20-F6-A22-B2, according to UNE EN-13813: 2003.

  • High levelling capacity.
  • Fast start up.

Application procedure

Surface preparation: The substrate should be sound, clean and free from dust, superficial laitance, loose particles or any other adhesion blocking material, such as slurry, asphalt, grease, etc. Please, refer to our Technical Department about other types of substrates.

COPSAPLAN 50 must be applied over cementitious mortars and concrete.

Existing cracks and holes should be repaired at least 24 hours prior to the application, by products within the PREREPAR range or by a mixture of COPSAPLAN 50 with sand (3 parts of the product per 1 part of 0.5 mm sand aggregates). In the case of patching, it is recommended to level the surface using one of our paints.

Priming: If necessary, priming should be done by PRELATEX SCA300. This will improve COPSAPLAN 50 adherence to the substrate and will prevent the formation of air bubbles. Consult the corresponding technical datasheets of the primers.

Product application: Mix 25 kg of COPSAPLAN 50 with 5 to 5.5 litres of water to obtain a homogeneous, lump free mix. Let the mix rest for 5 minutes and mix it again.

Apply COPSAPLAN 50 by hand using a metal levelling trowel before the priming has dried and hardened. Further on, level the structure surface using a nylon hair roller.

Tools cleaning: Tools and application equipments are washed with water immediately after use.
