High performance industrial flooring

Description

RODASOL CUARZO CORINDON is a cement base Portland flooring with special aggregates of quartz and corundum, pigments and additives of high quality which are applied over the concrete by forming a monolithic road layer with high abrasion resistance.

Technical Data

• Type: Cementitious mortar with quartz and corundum silica and special admixtures.
• Density: 2 kg/dm3.
• pH: 12.
• High resistance to abrasion (8 times upper to concrete).
• Extraordinary mechanical resistance.
• Impermeable to water, grease and oil due to its structure without dust.
• Corundum aggregate
• Abrasion index (Taber): 0.1.
• Hardness Mohs: 9.
• Crashing resistance: 2,100 kg/dm3.

Application procedure

Once extended the concrete and at the moment that it starts to cure (2 or 3 hours after been placed) realise the smoothing of the surface and after, spreading the indicated mixture in a quantity around 2/3 of the prevue and smoothing up to be compacted and wet. 1 hour later repeat procedure by spreading the rest of the mixture and smoothing again.

From the moment that the surface does not present any humidity (around 12 hours later) apply the curing liquid PRECURING.

Tools cleaning: Tools are washed with water, immediately after use.

Special precautions

This product contains cement. Avoid contact with eyes and skin as well the inhalation of the powder.
Use protective gloves and glasses.
Keep out of children's reach.
Do not apply at ambient temperature lower than 5 °C.

Empty packaging must be disposed of according to the local legal environmental regulations.

Consumption

• Floor submitted to medium mechanic requirements: 3 kg / m2.
• Floor submitted to medium mechanic requirements: 4 - 5 kg / m2.

These quantities are recommended when the humidity of the support is guaranteed to correct hydratation of the product.

Packaging

RODASOL CUARZO CORINDÓN is available in bags of 25 kg in gray, red and green colours.

Storage

Stockage must be in a dry place and protected from direct sun light and in its original packaging. Utilisation time is about 12 months from manufacturing date.
