Micro concrete for high resistance filling

Description

PREREPAR GROUT is a high performance, fluid micro grout, ready to use and free from metal aggregates, chlorides and in general, free from gas-generating products. It is suitable for any kind of filling which requires high resistances and a fast start-up, however complex it is.

• Workability time: 30-50 min.
• Initial-final setting: 120-250 min.
• Application temperature: > 5 ºC.

  • At plastic state:
    • Compression at 1 d: >400 kg/cm².
    • Compression at 7 d: >550 kg/cm².
    • Compression at 28 d: >700 kg/cm².
    • Flexural str. at 28 d:> 90 kg/cm².
  • At fluid state:
    • Compression at 1 d: >300 kg/cm².
    • Compression at 7 d: >400 kg/cm².
    • Compression at 28 d: >500 kg/cm².
    • Flexural str. at 28 d:> 70 kg/cm².
• Unaffected by vegetal oils and minerals.

Features

Consistence: Once mixed, PREREPAR GROUT acquires a consistency which can vary from plastic to fluid, according to the needs of the filling.

Compressive strength: Both compression strength and flexural strength are much higher than those of normal concrete, at an early age as well as at an old age.

Other features: Given its high compactness and formulation, the product is resistant to oils, grease and fuel derivates. It is waterproof, inflammable and non-toxic. It is resistant to extreme temperatures (-50ºC to + 210ºC) once it has hardened.

Application procedure

Mix with water at a rate of 2.25 litres of water per 25 kg bag of mortar to obtain a plastic consistency and at a rate of 2.75 litres of water per 25 kg bag to obtain a flow consistency.

Add the PREREPAR GROUT to 80% of the necessary water, mix for 1 minute and add the rest of the water. Continue mixing for further 1 to 1.5 minutes to obtain a lump free mix.

Do not add water after the grout has been prepared. A vertical axis concrete mixer or a paddle mixer should preferably be used to mix the product. Presoak the bearing surface, removing any excess water.

Cleaning of tools: Tools and equipments are washed with water immediately after their use. If the product hardens, it can be removed mechanically only.

• Any kind of fillings which require high resistance and a fast start-up.

Special precautions

PREREPAR GROUT is a cementitious product. Therefore, it must be handled with rubber gloves. Goggles are recommended.

Empty packaging must be disposed of according to the local legal environmental regulations.

Consumption

PREREPAR GROUT yields approximately 2.05 kg /m²/ mm thickness.

Packaging

The product is supplied in 25 kg bags.

Storage

PREREPAR GROUT must be stored at a dry place, protected from frost and direct sunlight, in its unopened original packaging.

If the product is well kept, its shelf life is 12 months since the date of manufacturing.
