Description

COPSALASTIC 600 PUR AUTONIVELANTE is a solvent free, self levelling two-component product based on polyoles and isocianates. With COPSALASTIC 600 PUR AUTONIVELANTE, elastic and flexible floors are attained, which are totally waterproof, of great adherence to all sorts of surfaces and of excellent chemical resistance.

COPSALASTIC 600 PUR AUTONIVELANTE is part of the COPSA CONFORTLINE PLUS SYSTEM.

Technical Data

• Type: Two- component polyurethane
  resin.
• Colour: Broad range of colours.
• Density at 20 ºC: 1,30 ± 0,05 kg/dm3.
• Solids in weight: ~ 100% (solvent free).
• Support temperature:
  Min: 8 ºC.
  Max: 30 ºC.
• Curing time (20 ºC):
  Initial: 7 hours.
  Light traffic: 12 hours.
  Complete: 7 days.
• Thickness: 2 to 8 mm.
• Elongation: ~100%.
• Hardness: 80 Shore A (after 28 days
  at 20 ºC).
• Bond strength: > 35 kg/cm2 (concrete
  breaks).
• Chemical resistance:
  Excellent resistance to most cleaning
  products, as well as to disinfectants
  used in hospitals oils, various acids and
  basic materials.
  Good resistance against some fuels.

Application procedure

Preparation of the surface: The support should be mechanically resistant. Two factors should be considered in the preparation of the surface:
- Absolute absence of dust, dirt and oils.
- Absence of humidity in the concrete.
Little cracks in the support or between walls, brick factories, etc., are treated prior to the application. The cleaning should be done through grinding, scarifying or sandblasting, according to the support.

Application: Once a suitable support is obtained in the adequate conditions, mix both components for at least 3 minutes, until a homogeneous mixture remains and spread a layer of COPSALASTIC 600 PUR AUTONIVELANTE with a trowel, until reaching the desired thickness. Afterwards apply the nylon tooth roller to remove the entrapped air.

Tools cleaning: The tools and utensils should be washed with COPSA solvent cleaner immediately after their use. If the product hardens, it will only be
removable through mechanic ways.

Special precautions

COPSALASTIC 600 PUR AUTONIVELANTE should only be handled with gloves and goggles. Avoid skin contact. The hardener of COPSALASTIC 600 PUR AUTONIVELANTE (component B) presents a caustic effect, therefore, possible splashing should be avoided.

In case of eye contact, wash immediately and thoroughly with water. In case of skin contact, wash thorouughly with water and soap. In case of ingestion, do not cause vomiting. See a doctor immediately. Empty packaging must be eliminated according to the local environmental regulations.

Consumption

The consumption of COPSALASTIC 600 PUR AUTONIVELANTE will depend on the irregularities of the support to treat.

Packaging

COPSALASTIC 600 PUR AUTONIVELANTE is supplied in cans of 25 kg and is available in the colours grey and red. Other colours are supplied upon request.

Storage

The shelf life of the product is 12 months if it is kept in a dry place, protected from frosts and the sun.
