High gloss varnish sealer for pavements

Description

RODADECK SEALER- E is a waterproof coating based on acrylic resins, highly resistant to washing and bad weather, especially designed for the painting of the polymeric pavements RODADECK and RODASOL IMPRESO which require protection, aesthetic highlight of their finish and an increase of their abrasion resistance.

Technical Data

• Type: Acrylic high resistant resin.
• Colour: Transparent (also see colour list).
• Specific weight at 20 ºC: 0.93 kg/dm³.
• Copa Ford viscosity: 26 s.
• Drying time (touch): 12 h.
• Minimum repainting time: 24 h.
• Application temperature: > 5 ºC.
• Solids in volume: 30%.

Application procedure

Apply by brush or roller over dust free surface.

Stir the content of the container to achieve perfect homogeneity.

Generally, one coating is enough. If a second coating is necessary, this has to be done 12 hours after the first one (according to temperature).

RODADECK SEALER-E must dry for at least 48 hours.

Recommended for

• Protection and beautifying of RODADECK and RODASOL IMPRESO pavements.
• Stamped concrete pavements.
• Industrial pavements.

Special precautions

RODADECK SEALER-E is an inflammable product, toxic by inhalation and ingestion.

RODADECK SEALER-E contains volatile solvents. Ensure good ventilation and use a mask if the product is used indoors.

If the product is spilled, pick it up using an absorbent product, such as sawdust or sand.

Do not empty in sewages, rivers, canals or in soils.

RODADECK SEALER must not get in contact with the skin, the eyes or be ingested. In case of eye contact, wash thoroughly with water and see a doctor. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with water and soap. If the product is ingested, see a doctor immediately. Do not provoke vomit.

Use gloves and goggles at the time of the product preparation and application.

Empty packaging must be disposed of according to the local legal environmental regulations.

Consumption

1litre of RODADECK SEALER-E can cover 5 to 7 m² depending on the support texture.

Packaging

RODADECK SEALER-E is available in 5 and 20 litre tins, within the range of RODADECK and RODASOL IMPRESO colours and also in transparent colour (5 and 19 litre tins).

There is a non-slip version according to the test UNE-ENV 12633:2003, with shear rate Rd > 45, class 3.

Storage

The product shelf life is 12 months if kept at a dry place and protected from bad weather, in its original, unopened containers.
