Description

PREREPAR S100 is a ready to use, bicomponent product, formulated on the base of synthetic resins, special cements and finegrained admixtures.

PREREPAR S100 is an efficient anti-corrosive coating for the protection of concrete reinforcements.

Technical Data

• Type: Anti-corrosive cement leitance.
• Aspect component A: Blue liquid.
• Aspect component B: Powder.
• Density of mixed concrete: 1.9 kg/dm3.
• Application temperature: > 5 oC.
• Temperature of use at 20ºC: 1 h.
• Components A: B ratio: 1: 2.5 in weight.
• Adherence to concrete: > 15 kg/cm2.
• Adherence to steel: Good.

Application procedure

Preparation of the reinforcement:
Eliminate deteriorated concrete around the reinforcement. Rust off reinforcement using a brush, sand blast or water under high pressure in order to achieve a high adhesion between PREREPAR S 100 and the steel.

Mixing: Mix Component A (blue liquid) with Component B (powder) and stir until a uniform lump-less mix is achieved.

Application: The first coating is applied on a clean reinforcement, procuring its total coverage. The second coating is applied immediately after the first one has dried. Repairing mortars PREREPAR COPSATEC types can be applied as soon as PREREPAR S 100 has hardened, not allowing to dry for more than 48 hours. Surfaces coated with PREREPAR S 100 should be protected against excessively fast evaporation.

Tools cleaning: Tools and application equipments should be washed with water, immediately after use. If the product hardens, it can only be removed by mechanical means.

Special precautions

This product contains cement. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin as well as its inhalation. Use rubber gloves and goggles. Keep away from children.

Empty packaging must be disposed of according to the local legal environmental regulations.

Consumption

The yield of PREREPAR S 100 to cover (two coatings) a bar of 12 mm of diameter is about 200g/linear m.

Packaging

PREREPAR S 100 is supplied in 7 kg sets.

Storage

PREREPAR S 100 should be kept at a dry place, protected from frost and direct sunlight, in its original, unopened containers.

PREREPAR S 100 shelf life is 12 months if adequately kept.
