Description

PRERESEAL 75 PLUG is an easy to apply product. Mixed with water it forms a fast setting mortar, ready to use and consisting in a mix of hydraulic cements, selected aggregates and admixtures.

  • Maximum: 20 mm.
  • Application temperature: > 5 ºC.
  • Mechanical strength:
  • Compressive strength at 28-d: 150 kg/cm2.
  • Bond strength: 10 kg/cm2.

*Not applicable when used as joint filling mortar.

Application procedure

Mix with water at a rate of 230 ml per 1 kg of PRERESEAL 75 PLUG to obtain a mixture without lumps and with a mortar consistency.

When room temperature is below 5º C it is recommendable to use hot water for the mixing (with temperature higher than 20 ºC). When room temperature is above 30º C cold mixing water is recommended (with temperature between 5 and 10º C).

The support should be previously saturated with water. Dust and friable material should be removed.

The fast setting of PRERESEAL 75 PLUG does not allow for mechanical mixing. Additional water may be added while mixing quickly to obtain the desired smooth paste like texture.

Tools cleaning: The tools and utensils should be washed with water immediately after use. If the product hardens on them, it can be removed in a mechanical way only.

Recommended for

  • Water leakages or infiltrations even under pressure: drinkable water reservoirs, dikes, foundations, basements, etc.
  • Mortar joints repair.
  • Metal bolts and bars anchoring.

Special precautions

Gloves and protective eyewear should always be used while handling the product. If accidental eye or skin contact occurs, wash with clean water immediately. A doctor should be seen if the irritation persists. If accidentally swallowed, drink plenty of water. Medical assistance is necessary.

Empty packaging must be disposed of according to the local legal environmental regulations.

Consumption

Consumption depends on the application and the volume of the cut-out to fill in or plug. 1 kg of the product fills 600cm3 or a joint of 20 x 20 mm x 1.5 linear metres.

Packaging

PRERESEAL 75 PLUG is packaged in plastic pots of 20 kg.

Storage

PRERESEAL 75 PLUG should be stored in a dry place, protected from frost and direct sunshine in its unclosed original containers.

The product has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of production, when stored under appropriate conditions.
